  We had a great time at Skycroft. However, it felt like it was the end of the season when we were in fact, at the beginning of August. The wifi didn't work. The trails seemed nice on the map but they are not maintained and my husband almost got lost in the woods, even if he had a map. The showers and bathroom are super clean and well maintained. However, the top of the building containing both the showers and toilets would need a cleaning. The dry toilets closer to our campsite were much appreciated. Our site was great, lots of space and near the water. The beach is very full of weed that could be cut at least in the swimming area. It was a very nice stay, however we felt like the place needed a bit of TLC ;-)

  Nice clean campground. Expensive. Not a lot to do. Better to find a provincial park with better amenities.

  We got a very warm welcome here right from square one, with firewood delivered right to the campsites, a map and guide with our name taped to the office as we arrived after hours, and very friendly staff. Really beautiful location as its a small stroll from the lake, and plenty of hiking trails for different vantage points. The general store and free wifi are very handy. We would definitely plan for another stay here.

  For over 20 years, It's always been a great experience at Skycroft. Starting with the owner through to all their staff, there is always a helping hand if needed. If you're are looking for a getaway, this place is a gem. The nature and serenity are enough to unwind the tightest wound clock. Highly recommended! Thanks Dave!
